I’m Jaymin a recent graduate with a master’s in mathematics from Oxford University. I have several years’ experience in tutoring maths from GCSE level all the way up to university level. I specialise in tutoring MAT and STEP, as well as providing tutorials on how best to prepare for Oxbridge maths interviews.

I have achieved 100% in several maths exams including my GCSEs, A-Levels and also the TMUA. Furthermore, I’ve achieved a few different awards from university for both excellent examination scores as well as excellent research into mathematics.

I also have a YouTube channel called ‘J Pi Maths’ dedicated to sharing challenging maths problems. This exemplifies my enthusiasm for teaching and sharing maths to as many people as possible as well as my ability to explain tricky concepts in an understandable manner.

Hey! My name is Shyam and I am a 3rd year maths student at Cambridge. I have experience teaching younger students during A-levels as part of a charity program known as MathsMakers, where I volunteered to help students catch up with their peers by guiding them to learn and truly understand the mathematics they are being taught rather than blindly accepting rules. I enjoy teaching as it allows to to give back to the world as well as the opportunity to ensure students can appreciate what they are learning instead of memorising content for the sake of memorising it. I attended a non-grammar state school growing up so was not given sufficient help when preparing for entrance tests and interviews and aim to ensure that others don’t have to self-teach and instead can be given the attention and help required to prosper.

Hi, I’m Lucy. I’ve just finished my fourth year studying General Engineering at the University of Oxford, specialising in biomedical engineering but also taking modules in information, mechanical and thermo-fluid engineering. I am waiting for my final year results, but achieved an aggregate high 2:1 over the first 3 years.

At school, I studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics for A-Level, achieving an A* in each. Alongside my studies, I led the only all-female team in the Weizmann Safe Cracking Tournament, and competed in the Student Investor Challenge and UK Maths Challenges (achieving qualifications into both Kangaroo and Olympiad rounds in several years).

At GCSE, I achieved 11 A*s including Maths and Physics, as well as an A in the FSMQ (Free Standing Maths Qualification). I am also a keen sports player, captaining the Oxford University Basketball Team and competing in cross country and athletics at school.
